Hi menosisters I'm soo scare! Yesterday at work was fine when suddenly a flashing light started to botter on the very corner of my left eye and got more and more annoying but at the end of the day it turned worse, with a shower of spots and spider web ( look alike ). I was hoping today will be better but has not change at all, and at times sims to get worse. My left eyes is completly covered with all this c--p . I happened to have the same problem in my right eye but it wasn't this bad, but this time is the worse of the worse ever. I'm ready to give up in life and go to bed and way till I die, Sorry I'm soo desperate and if it wasn't for you ladies I just don't know what it could had happened by now. I feel very down.

menosick: what you are describing could be a detached retina.....please contact an eye doctor ASAP and get this checked out. It can be fixed with outpatient surgery.
EveningPrimrose
I agree with Robin -- it could be a detached retina- so take Robin's advice and contact your eye doctor ASAP - dont wait --

((hugs))

The occular migraine visual disturbances only last for about 20 minutes. I would agree with the other girls, go get it checked out.

I agree. Not something to be fooled with. See your doc right away tomorrow. I had same thing over a year ago. Afraid of retinal detachment. Turns out it was not - ocular migraine instead - which may very well be your case, but it's best not left to chance.

Menosick:

I had a tear in my retina years ago and it was repaired by laser. It will take a while for the spots to go away.
