I've been post for 4 1/2 years and still get daily hot flashes up to 10 a day and about 3-5 per night. I've tried everything under the sun and nothing stops them or eases them. I don't mean to dishearten you, just stating the facts as they are for me. sad.gif

Thanks for the reply but I was afraid of that! Just keep on sweating! wink.gif

Remifemin helped me!
It takes 2 weeks before it starts working, so don't give up too soon!
Good luck, Jonie

I'm post by a couple years, but I still have hot flashes and occasional palps.

I'm 15 months without a . and have night sweats and hot flashes amongst other things...the latest is dry membranes in my nose which has been bleeding for the last 5 months on and off. I started the Climara Pro Patch which seems to help with the hot flashes but the darn thing fell off last week and the new one I put on Saturday isn't sticking. I'm calling the company this morning...I pay $60 for 4 patches and that's too expensive to let go.

I will be one year without a period in August....I have been taking 'Herbal Equilibrium' from Womentowomen.com for the last 2 months and now have NO MORE HOT SPELLS!!!!

It's definately worth the money (about $24 for a 2 months supply, I only take one a day, it works for me!)

It helps with mild mood swings, hot flashes, insomnia and balances estrogen, progesterone and testosterone....NATURALLY.....it's just herbs.

I think it is worth a try.

Good luck.

p.s.

it takes 3 weeks for them to get in your system and begin working, so be patient.

Karen,
This is kind of off the topic, but I just wanted to mention that I use the Climara patch and mine WILL NOT STICK unless I put a Tegaderm clear dressing on top of it. You can get them from DrugStore.com and I'm sure some pharmacies have them too. You're right--those patches are too expensive to lose!

So do you just take the 'Herbal Equilibrium'? I have been taking it and the vitamins and am finding it to be too expensive. If just the 'Herbal Equilibrium' works, I'll try that.
Thanks!
