About 10 or so years ago I looked down and noticed a couple of thin, almost transparent little hairs sprouting out around my nipples. I plucked them. I had to do that every few months or so, but there was never more than 1 or 2.

Now that I'm in the grip of peri-menopause they are no longer little thin hairs but big black wiry critters sprouting out in abundance around my nipples. They're long too! To add insult to injury, I can't see them without my glasses. The other day I was getting ready to get in the shower when I glanced in the mirror and thought I spotted a hair on my nipple. I grabbed a magnifying hand held mirror and nearly died! It took me forever but I ended up plucking a good 20 Long black wiry hairs from around both nipples. And to think hubby sees that all the time...I'm MORTIFIED!!!! ohmy.gif

Anyone else fighting the battle of the nipple hair? Any other solution aside from plucking?

How embarrassing!!!

ROFLMAO! OMG, this was me a few years ago. Take heart those stray ones do eventually go white/gray or transparent and the husbands are too worried about their own balding heads and hair growing out of their ears, nose and on the back to be worried about furry nips. ;-) At least we can pluck or hide them in a bra versus having to wax an upper lip or chin. ;-)

Oh I love the furry nipple comment. Great one. smile.gif I have one hair on my breast and have had it for years. I forget about it once in awhile and then realize, what is that? and pluck away. I am waiting for it to spread but so far nothing has happened. It is good to hear that they turn gray.
