Anyone managing their anxiety and depression with fish oil? I used to take 2grams a day of 3-6-9/Nordic Naturals, then I went down to 1mg several months ago. I just upped my fish oil dosage to 3mgs this and my anxious/panicky feelings feel blunted and I'm able to focus better rather than on my anxious thoughts. Do you think this is a coincidence? I remember when I started at 2mgs of the same brand of fish oil my relentless anxiety went away (early 2006). This was not a cure all, I still had panic attacks but they were dramatically reduced to like 2 a year.

Your fish oil feedback is greatly appreciated. smile.gif

I take 2000 mgs for anxiety, depression etc. and it has helped me greatly. I think your panic was just a coincidence.......Have a good day hon!

I just took fish oil today and I DO feel a difference. I still a bit anxious or the up/down feeling, but its more at the back of my mind then out front and taking over, like it used to be. I am going to continue taking it and see how it goes. Besides it's good for your heart and your cholesterol level, so can't hurt!
