I started cramping again just a few days ago, only 2 weeks since the beginning of my last period. The pain began to intensify today and it feels exactly like the pain I had 2 months ago, only not as intense. I am so hoping that it does not progress as it did before. I have been on BCP going into my 3rd week, so I should not be ovulating.

I have no idea why I keep hurting like this. The dr's found nothing wrong. The pain left after about 3 or 4 weeks, but I am so scared it is returning again.

Has ANYONE had ANYTHING like this happen?

Could the cramping be related to ovarian pain? I had this (on the left side) for the last couple years of peri-menopause. Many ultrasounds, and other tests - all the while my doc was convinced it was ovarian pain. It's not uncommon for some women to have this in peri, according to him! huh.gif

Have you been checked for endometriosis? I did undergo a laparoscopy to rule that out - negative!

So sorry you're dealing with this, T.W. sad.gif

I had a really uncomfortable 3 months or so of constant cramping and lower back pain earlier this year which seems to have resolved itself - although there's no guarantee that it won't come back! Cysts, fibroids, endometriosis and plain old hormonal whackiness can, I understand, all be possible causes. I know it's worrying when it happens all through your cycle, but it could just be another one of those maddening yet essentially harmless peri/meno symptoms. Hope you feel better soon, Jess

I have had the same thing only I will say it seems to start off as cramping and now I have started to come to the conclusion its also a combo of Peri and GAS, yes gas can be very painful and bloating.
Watch what you eat for a while, and do you like ACTIVIA the yogurt it does wonders to just takes a while to kick in you have nothing to lose try it.

I also started bending over , LOL, in a way to expell the sucker seems to work , well gotta go outside in the evening and do it dont want to scare the family. Oh how un feminine but hey if it works I will try anything once. laugh.gif

God bless you

As always, thank you ALL very much for responding!

You'd think I'd be use to this by now, but NO, I am not!!

The pain today is a lot worse than it was yesterday and I have thought of

everything everyone has suggested and I just do not know, except maybe I'm

gearing up for an extremely horrendous period..........or just maybe someone doesnt like me very much!

Seriously though, I wonder if this is just part of the whole peri mess we all are in.

Man, Bev!

That is just the worst!! I wish I could take it all away for you, or at least figure out what the answers are!! Have you called the Gyn and tell them whats up? Maybe you should.

Hey Kathie,

I was actually thinking of calling my gyn when the phone rang this morning. It was the receptionist calling to check on me.

Dr. was more concerned about my blood pressure than anything and has encouraged me to see my primary care physician.

All I could get from her on the sypmtoms I am having was that it may take a couple of months for the pills to work, although she did say that I would NOT ovulate this month.

I am more confused than ever about this whole entire mess and too worn out to search anymore.
