I read a short article in a magazine today that said pomegranate is good for symptoms. Anyone try it and found it made a difference?

Here's another blurb I found about it on the web:

"Pomegranate seed oil also contains phytoestrogens, similar to the estrogens naturally produced by the human body. Many women have found that using pomegranate seed oil has helped to ease symptoms associated with menopause and perimenopause, such as mood swings, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and diminished libido. To relieve the symptoms of menopause, pomegranate seed oil can be used topically as a skin moisturizer, orally as a dietary supplement, as a massage oil, or as a personal lubricant."

I just love to eat fresh pomegranate, in Middle East it is consider to be feminine fruit, as it is full of seeds and a symbol of fertility. I have read about the supplements, but never bought one, just eat pommies when they are in season, taste great and fun to eat. smile.gif

I have just read about pomegranates being used for menopausal symptoms. They say that pomegranates have natural estrogens too, and I am wondering if anyone has heard this or are you using this?Is this any better than soy products? Can you use pomegranate by itself and can you add it along with your soy? Dearest, what do you think about this?
