I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience to mine. I started peri at the age of 31-32 and I will be 40 this August. I have had anxiety disorder my whole life but it came full blast in my early 20's. I have no children and am now experiencing more extreme hot flashes; though the Revival Soy is helping, I also experience poor sleep quality and fatigue. Some crying spells but they are getting better. I haven't cycled in close to 70 days which is the longest I have gone w/o though my irregular cycles started back in 2001. I mentioned before that my blood work came up "postmen" and I am aware that they are a snapshot in time....but I do feel something is different this time around.

I'm just wondering if anyone else here is in their 30's and closing in on meno and as opposed to peri?

Le,

I have a friend who hit full blown menopause by age 39. It is not unheard of, although it is not common either. I started peri in my mid 30s an went thru menopause at 46. That is a little later than you, but not a whole heck of a lot. Keep in mind that this is a personal experience that is yours and yours alone....don't worry about the "rules", as they are merely averages. There was a time in our past where the average age for menopause was 40! You just have "old fashioned" genes!!

They say if you smoke, you will go through menopause earlier and if you are on the "fluffy" side you will go through later. I, being a fluffy non-smoker am 50 and 3 months, still regular but MEANER THAN A SNAKE.
