My holtometer counted 805 PVCs over 48 hours, and I was having a couple of good palp days, they weren't bad in my opinion. I've had days that were WAY worse....where I've had between 3 to 8/9 per minute, all day everyday until I thought I was going to go crazy. They make me dizzy, short of breath and give me chest pains.

Nothing else showed up on my holtometer but I think there is more going on because I get dizzy 15 to 30 minutes into any exercise that I do as well. It's really scaring me.

So, how many of you get 100s to 1000s of PVCs per day? And how many get all of the associated symptoms I listed?

Hi FreakedOut,
It may look like my first post but I have actually been on here for years. Something happened to my computer and when I got it back, I couldn't get back on this site, so I had to re-register all over again. I have had hundreds a day except when I was wearing a holter monitor. It comes and goes for me. Today is bad with runs of them in a row, like missing a few beats and then three or four of them on top of each other. They **** big time. I used to get dizzy exercising, but I continued at a slow pace and now for the most part, I am okay. I think that anxiety can make you dizzy, because you are worrying about being dizzy. When I first came on this site about 4 years ago, many, many women had and still have days that are filled with palps. Hope this helps and my heart goes out to you, because I know you are scared. Take Magnesium and calcium, that has worked wonders for me.

(((((Freaked))))) - last year I had around a year of these palps all day every day. They totally freaked me out too!!! I barely had an hour without them. Then back last August they suddenly went. The following couple of months I had an odd few and then no more. I hope this gives you hope!

I did notice they had a lot to do with my digestion. I'd been through a spell of gastritis and went through a phase where food was repeating on me a bit (GERD). I researched this a lot and found out that bulemics (which I'm not) suffer a lot from palps too. They bring a lot of food back up all the time. My gastritis had healed, but I believe it had set off this problem. Maybe I even have a small hiatus hernia? Anyway all these things can irritate the vagus nerve that runs between the stomach and the heart and bring on these palps. Finally mine calmed down. I think the hormones in paeri make the vagus nerve sensitive to such disruption.

My cardio was useless denying the existence of peri for people under 50 or any possibility of the vagus nerve being responsible BUT my GP agreed with me this is very likely what happened. He told me that the problem with specialists is that they know an awful lot about a very little. They are very good when you have serious heart problems but know very little when it comes to innocent palps. They can diagnose them as such but that's about it. They know very little about other fields of medicine. He told me he sees an awful lot of people with gastro problems and palps (skipped beats).

I know how awful they are and my heart goes out to you - I spent my first year on this site battling them - I would say take magnesium, be kind to your digestion (try NoT to burp or regurg food if you possibly can as this was my problem with my gastritis and definitely aggravated the palps). I also had acupuncture which I believe helped me enormously. The other thing is to try not to panic as anxiety makes them worse too, but I do understand how hard this is not to. I had that too, peaking the year before the palps and still do have it to a point but the palps have gone despite it smile.gif
