Hi Everyone:
Has anyone had an issue or problem with wearing contact lenses during peri? The last two weeks I've felt somewhat seasick and when I take my contacts out and put my glasses on, I feel better. I thought maybe it was allergies or something like a virus...but from the reading I've been doing here, it sounds as if this might also be attributable to peri ?? Let me know if you've experienced this ?? Thanks................!

I have worn contact for about 35 years. I did notice that when I got into my 40's that my presciption changed a little. Especially recently. The eye doctor has changed my presciption to account for the presbyopia almost every one gets during middle age. You know, the feeling you have to hold stuff further away to see it! I am not sure if this is so much related to peri or if it is a normal response to aging.
If you are having a rocking boat feeling with your contacts in go see your optometrist. Perhaps they need to tweak your prescription a little.
