this is brief ..... does anyone here, ever get a sore tongue? LOL...well, i know that may sound funny, but i keep getting that, on and off....it's usually on the left side. UGH! i don't know if it's due to starting my period a few days ago, (it was 13 days late again!) or not ....this is very aggravating!

Myh tongue gets sore too. I also get little sores in my mouth. My rheumatologist told me with the Sceloderma that I may have these symptoms but I wonder if the peri has something to do with it too. UGH.

Hi mydarling

You may want to look up my post regarding B vitamins, there are some that have sore tongue as a symptom if deficient.

BTW do you still have issues with your legs at all?? I have read many of your posts and I read some about your legs. I'm having great problems with mine and severe muscle tension and tightness feeling and thought you may be able to shed some light on it for me. I've had lots of blood tests done including a full thyroid panel and all is normal. But everytime I look on here lots of women with leg muscle problems stears towards a thyroid issue. I have researched it ALOT and have found lowering estrogen and also estrogen dominance can contribute to this problem too as well as a side effect from my AD Doxepin can also cause edema in legs....sheesh I'm just so confused and keep going around in circles wacko.gif . I'm tending towards the estrogen theory as symptoms tend to peak and ebb at differing stages of my cycle that correspond to the climbing and sudden drops in estrogen. I'm still having a period regularly but things are changing. I'm nearly 42 and my doc says I'm too young for this but he hasn't found this site obviously laugh.gif ..........

Oh well I'm entirely off topic here but I haven't figured out where to start a thread about any of this so I just jump in wherever and hope for someone to stumble upon it that can sympathise and offer suggestions LOL laugh.gif

So feel free to jump in and help me out here ladies unsure.gif

Like it burns, or like it is hyper sensative, raw.

hi ladies,

rox...first of all .... i haven't had to many leg issues for a while now...thank God! that was my first symptom in peri, and boy, that was really something! yeah, i panicked, and thought i had blood clots, but obviously, it wasn't. The hormonal thing was the culpit alright, and like i said, i haven't had the leg thing in quite a while now, but don't worry, it's substitued with MANY MANY MANY OTHER HORRIBLE symptoms in it's place ..lol .. wink.gif ...

NOW, i have this sore throat again! this is insane! i DO have post nasal drip, which comes and goes...i guess its from that.
Does anyone here have sore throats that come and go?
blessy
Hi mydarling,

Talking about post nasal drip, yes, I have it. At one time, it affected my ear as well as my throat. I get a weird sort of pressure in my ear and my doc said it is due to the back drip. I have been using a nasal spray (Rhinocort Aqua) since and so far so good. Do try using a nasal spray to relieve the symptom.
