I am 60 years old and have been going through the menopause for 6 years now. However, for the past month I have woken up with a headache every morning. This is one of the menopausal symptoms that I find a cannot cope with. It is absolutely ruining my life at the moment. I feel like just curling up. I take pain killers for my back so I am unable to take any more. My Doctor has asked the usual questions and does not seem concerned. Can anyone out there please advise me and tell me if you have had the same. Oh, by the way, the hot flashes are worse than ever at the moment.
Dear 'cinders'
Is it possible that these headaches could be a 'side effect' from having to take painkillers for so long.Am not kidding as had to take pain killers for a jaw problem and eventually the Doctor switched me to a new prescription
Have you had your Sinuses checked out! They can cause killer early morning headaches as can too much sun or sitting too near the A.C.
Anway,am sorry that you are experiencing this on a daily basis.
Hugs and soft neck and scalp massage
God Bless
Elizabeth
