Hi friends,

Just wondering if there is a final clean out before post? Over the past couple of months I have had the urge to go to the loo all times day and night, for both ones and two's (not at the same time) often with no result, and last night woke up thought I needed to pee and the result was pee, lots of blood and clots (yum). It's often like I have a pressure feeling on the bladder.

Please tell me that this is the final clean out - is there such a thing??

Thanks Freuda.

well I just finished with a UTI and it took three weeks of continuing symptoms to finally get me to the docs for another check. Antibiotics had taken care of the infection but somehow the urge and then the nighttime pees began. I finally got some pills for a week for "overactive bladder" and that helped a lot...I missed my first period and it started with that....Joan

Unfortunately, no. There is no "clean out" as you describe it. Although there IS such things as urinary tract infections, overactive/weak bladder, pressure on the bladder/colon from fibroids/endometriosis, stress incontinance and IBS. Even prior to a period, sometimes women feel pressure on the baldder, and it feels like an urge to urinate. Lots of bleeding/clots are very common in peri. So are "flooding" types of bleeding with your periods. If you are concerned, check with your doctor. These same "urges" can also be caused by anxiety, stress and a poor diet.
