Hey Everyone,
I have been having strange headaches for about a month. It is like a sharp pain in the top left side until it decides to move around and then it is pressure in the back of my head and sometimes on the right side Does that sound confusing? It is to me also. I take Activan for anxiety but it does not seem to help. I'd go to the Dr. but they are tired of seeing me, even the cardio guy says your ok. I'm post and 56 and still have so many symtoms. Any help out there?

I have had these strange headpains as well,they come and go.I also get migraines.If you google ice pick headaches it sounds similar to your symptoms.My headaches got much more frequent when peri started.Now I get them mainly on sugar pill week of my bcp.GODbless.

OH, I get weird head things every now and then too and feel I must be checking out. The back of my head can feel pressure, then sort of dizzy but not quite if that makes sense. I just feel "off". I can easily go into panic mode from there. I keep a diary now, so I can see those moments happen and I survive. It really helps alot. Good luck.

I used to get stabbing head pain, but it generally only lasted a few minutes. I used to call it my aneurism pain. I haven't had it now for some time.....I take BHRT so maybe it is a low hormone symptom. I used to get the occular migraines too (aura, big vision distortions) and I don't get those anymore either. It is amazing to me how many symptoms I actually had during peri, that I never identified as hormonal. It wasn't until the anxiety and panic and dizziness hit me HARD that I realized any of it was menopausal....actually it wasn't until I found Power Surge that I realized any of it was hormone other than the hot flashes and the change in periods.
