As many of you know,I had my annual gyn appointment today .The gyno told me that she had already considered me to be postmenopausal, even before the short incidence of bleeding in March.(I thought it meant that I had to start counting, the 12 months again.I thought I was getting up to the finish line). But she said that I was post, and even though I thought I had one month to go.The bleeding for 2 days ,has her concerned. She is setting me up for a EPDoes anyone have any input on this.?.I know I can search the web,but I feel better, asking you all, about your experiences.I am concerned, but not worried. But I hope to be able to set up an appointment as soon as possible.By the way,she asked me if I had any questions, and I followed your sage advice, and I had a very positive experience. Thanks for all your good advice,

I had one about six months ago. Take some ibuprofen before you go, it will help. They don't usually numb you, and it is a bit painful, but over in a flash. Good luck...

Libby, oh yes had one and many other tests.
It feels like a sharp cramp when the doctor gets her sample and then bam over with so fast you won't know what hit you! Like blink and it's over!
You may be a tiny bit sore like cramping right before your period and have slight bleeding but advil will take care of the pain after.

It's no big deal! You will be surprise how fast and easy it goes!

Definitely crampy, but very short lived. I noticed I cramped off and on and had mild bleeding for about 12 hours after the procedure.

Count me in for reassurance as well. I had one about 6 months ago and there was nothing to it. The doctor was done in less than a minute, and I felt just minor discomfort. I had no cramping afterward at all.

Try not to worry. smile.gif
