Yup, we got married on tax day. I joked that it was a sure-fire way for my hubby not to get our anniversary!

He left me a card on my desk this morning before he went to work; very sweet. And he wrote me a nice note...saying how much it meant to him that I've stuck by him through this past years awful ordeal.

We're leaving Thurs afternoon for a weekend in Vermont. Nice hotel room with a fireplace and jacuzzi.

So what's the traditional gift for 3 years? Lint?

I'm trying to decide if I should stick to the veggie diet or say to heck with it and go buy some nice steaks...

sorry, I meant he won't "forget" our anniversary. Is there such a thing as meno-fingers???

Well Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby! If it were me, I'd spluge and get the steaks...cant imagine celebrating with veggies... Yes, steak, baked potatoe with lotsa butter, sour cream and pepper....yummm

Happy anniversary! You may find some good vegetarian places up in VT--when I used to visit there they usually had some interesting veggie dishes, so you'll probably have your choice.

Happy Anniversary!!! I hope you have a wonderful time on your little trip! Sounds divine. As for the steak? Well if it was me, I would go for it!! But you did say when you ate meat last time neither of you felt very well.....so, maybe think carefully...It would not be cool if you both have tummy aches on your anniversary!!
