Sweet Bugaboo,
What really worries me are the symptoms I have been having over the past 4 or 5 months.
I started with cramping that lasted about 2 months. I really didnt think much of it until about 2 weeks ago, about 5 days before my period started, the cramping was very close to hard labor pains. I thought I was having a kidney stone attack again. That was ruled out. Had to have strong pain meds and was unable to function for a week. I have had minor cramping, constant nausea and no appetite since then.
Is this normal? Please say it is, no, please don't, yes, please do!!
Hmmm, boy, I don't know. I'm thinking that the cramping is all part of the peri/menopausal stuff. Sounds like it, to me. I had a couple of weeks of mild cramping - but no period.
Cramping, constant nausea, and no appetite . . . Well, surely it's just hormonal. Are you supposed to be checked fairly soon? I think you said you were, right? Did I read correctly, somewhere on these boards, that you were checked for kidney stones? Maybe I got that wrong. At any rate, I did say a prayer for you and will continue to do so.
This stuff is all so hard to get through. I feel like I'm in the woods here. Today I'm on the verge of tears (not sure why, though), so I think I'll go out and jog. --- For that to make any sense, I NEVER jog! Never have. I don't have a regular exercise program, matter of fact. I hate exercise. But, I feel like I need to pound this fear and worry out of my head, and so I guess I'll get out there and pound the pavement, so to speak.
TW, does your abdomen hurt to the touch? Are you in constant pain? Maybe the cramping is a "phantom period" type of thing, that would fall under peri-menopausal symptoms . . .
