Does anyone else get lower pelvic cramping and lower backache pretty much the whole month. Kind of like when you are ovulating and the lower back ache is like when you are just about to get your period? I always feel like I am just on the verge of getting my period.

I have had times like this,I feel like I am getting ready to bleed but my body can't do it,then on sugar pill week on my bcp I bleed and feel better.Try some ibuprophen, and if it doesn't go away make an appt. with your dr.GODbless.

Yeah Yeah Yeah... I can totally relate.... PMSing all the time and no period.... ARGHHHHH>>>>> when you do get it ... you feel better for about 3 days and then it starts all over again!!!! The bloating makes your back hurt more! Cramps from HELL thinking "I just know that I have to get my period today!!!!" >>>>> AND NO!>>>>>> Just keep bloating up until you break a zipper on your favorite skirt. Jogging suits and spandex become your favorite wardrobe and then your boyfriend has the balls to tell you that "it's not mine" when he sees your belly is sticking out and he knows you are late! LOL <<, NO DUH<<< that would have required sexual intercourse which we have not had!!!!!! You want to bite his head off because he has no clue what the hell your body is going through and who cares about him and his needs anyway.
Perimeno ***** big time!!!!! I am 48 years old and have not tried any type of HRT as of yet....... but really thinking about it!!!!!!!!
Good luck to you Nonamesleft!!!

LMAO! Thanks for the laugh!! I wouldn't dare attempt to date anyone at this point in my life. I have no patience and would probably kill him! Best of luck to you too!

Well I just keep him around so I have someone to B@#%h at..... plus he takes out the garbage! << and he is kinda cute when I dont have cramps! My Dog likes him, he fixes things around the house, takes me out all the time, brings my Grey Goose Vodka and he pays some of the bills>>>>>> then i send him home!!!!!!!!!!>>>>>>>what more can I want? I really wish I had my labido back <<< cause he is good at that too!!!!
OHHHHHH Whatever..... This too shall pass>>>> hopefully soon!

I get that too... I'm not sure why, I thought I was the only one. It also happens when I do a lot of walking. I have frequent migraines so I'm always taking some kind of Tylenol or Advil so over the counter does not help.

Sorry I couldn't help, but I can definately sympathize. sad.gif

Yep, me too. The only time I get relief from it these past three months or so has been during my period. Been getting more vaginal discharge too. I'm so fed up of it all I could quite happily have it all whipped out.....but that would probably only create another set of health problems! Jess x

I get that too and my low back is achy almost every day, especially after I've been on my feet for more than 5 minutes. sad.gif I went 4 months this time w/no period and today I just got it. Now I have to start all over again. I went 3 months the last time w/no period. I have one ovary and since the time it was taken my peri symptoms got steadily worse. I also have no libido either and haven't taken any HRT yet but I may try a very low dose bio HRT next month when I see my gyno. The herbs/vitamins/minerals I take help with my moods and energy level, but the aches and the no sex drive are my constant companions, as well as being chilled to the bone. I was thinking that after 4 months I was heading to the final phase of this madness, but alas, I'm kicked to the curb once more.

I take it one day at a time, and I try and think about things that don't bother me and what I am happy about and that helps me get through.

I haven't found much to help with the cramping, but magnesium helps somewhat. Take about 500mg a day in divided doses with calcium and see if that helps.

Hi nonamesleft,

Yes, I had cramping the ENTIRE month of March until I finally started my period.......... and man, was it a doozie!

Then, I felt like I ovulated again, BEFORE my period even ended!! Very strange stuff going on these past few months!!

Now..................less than 2 weeks after the end of my last period, I'm getting the................. wanting to eat everything in sight type of thing..................thinking, what in the heck is going on here........................cramping AGAIN, but since I have never had this type of cramping with ovulation, I know something more is going on and sure enough................i'm bleeding AGAIN and the cramping is the...........I wanna stay in my house and do nothing all day long type of feeling!!

I know all of this is normal, but this is not suppose to happen to me................. this is for my mother, not me!

I have cramping what seems like all month long. the only thing that helps me is motrin and I have also found that cold helps. I filled a small hot water bottle with water and leave it in the freezer and when I get the cramps I just put it on not for too long and just keep putting in on and off for a few minutes at a time and it seems to help the blood flow. I also get the on and off bleeding which also seems to last all month. I have times when I just can not stand this peri anymore. It is enough to make you crazy.

YES! I didn't used to, up until a few months ago, and now, it seems like that's happening all the time! I get the cramps, the back pain, and that same feeling that you're about to get your period. Lately though, I've added, lots of vaginal "anxiety"..lol...which means, vaginal sensations that drive me nuts!

Ive had cramping for several months.

The past two weeks have been the worst.

The cramping has been accompainied with nausea, loss of appetite and fatigue.

I go for an ultrasound this week.

I'm just a little bit scared.

Thank you, Rox, that is VERY sweet of you!

I am as much afraid of the results as I am the procedure, but I'm sure everything will be ok.

Hugs,

I'll say a pray for you, TW. It's probably just peri stuff, etc. {{{{HUGS}}}}

That's exactly how I am, too! I don't mind any kind of test - but doggone, I dread possibly receiving results that might not be good.

We're with you in spirit, TW. I have tests I have to face, too. I sure hate all of this stuff, I really do.

No fun! Shouldn't I only be 30 now, and not 51?? I wish . . .

Sweet Bugaboo,

What really worries me are the symptoms I have been having over the past 4 or 5 months.

I started with cramping that lasted about 2 months. I really didnt think much of it until about 2 weeks ago, about 5 days before my period started, the cramping was very close to hard labor pains. I thought I was having a kidney stone attack again. That was ruled out. Had to have strong pain meds and was unable to function for a week. I have had minor cramping, constant nausea and no appetite since then.

Is this normal? Please say it is, no, please don't, yes, please do!!

Hmmm, boy, I don't know. I'm thinking that the cramping is all part of the peri/menopausal stuff. Sounds like it, to me. I had a couple of weeks of mild cramping - but no period.

Cramping, constant nausea, and no appetite . . . Well, surely it's just hormonal. Are you supposed to be checked fairly soon? I think you said you were, right? Did I read correctly, somewhere on these boards, that you were checked for kidney stones? Maybe I got that wrong. At any rate, I did say a prayer for you and will continue to do so.

This stuff is all so hard to get through. I feel like I'm in the woods here. Today I'm on the verge of tears (not sure why, though), so I think I'll go out and jog. --- For that to make any sense, I NEVER jog! Never have. I don't have a regular exercise program, matter of fact. I hate exercise. But, I feel like I need to pound this fear and worry out of my head, and so I guess I'll get out there and pound the pavement, so to speak.

TW, does your abdomen hurt to the touch? Are you in constant pain? Maybe the cramping is a "phantom period" type of thing, that would fall under peri-menopausal symptoms . . .
