Hi there friends,
Last week I wrote that my doctor has prescribed BCPs in an effort to control my increasing migraines with visual disturbances. She believed that my migraines were caused by fluctuating hormones and my body was screaming out for them to be stabilised and therefore elevating my blood pressure. My BP hasn't been controlled with antihypertensives. Well, I've only been on BCP for the week and have continued with my progesterone cream and my BP has been normal for 6 days straight. I've been taking it twice per day. I haven't fully grasped the reasoning behind it all and I'm keen to learn more but I though I'd let you know the result. It's all just wacky stuff isn't it?
Love and hugs to all

Hi Gabby:

That is great news your BP is normal now. I really think it could be the unbalanced hormones that can start this roller coaster ride with our BP not to mention the anxiety that comes along with it. Mine has been better since really working out and taking my over the counter progest cream. I am hoping it stays that way for along time to come. It is wacky stuff that is for sure.

Best,
Mopsy
