I've had two ablations in the past eight or so years. With the first I had zero periods for two years. After they came back WITH A FURY I had the second one, which left me with extremely light periods. So how will I know when I actually hit menopause, meaning I no longer have periods? It is not inconceivable that my periods are so light now that I don't know they happen. I'm 51 and a half, and so ready to be done with this! I went through a stretch of nine months of what I THINK were no periods, then all of a sudden they came back. I guess I'm hoping that finally getting to menopause will alleviate the fatigue, bad skin, low sex drive, fog brain, etc. Thanks.

I'm not the one to help you because I didn't even know you could have 2 ablations!!!! I have a couple of friends that had hysterectomies and they try an go by whenever they are lucky enough to feel or sense a sign of ovulation and mark it from there. In other words if the fatigue is worse some week than others, perhaps that is the *PMS* of it. I'd think by trying to chart all you symptoms and by sensing a pattern to them. Don't honestly know though!
