Hello Ladies:
I hope you are all well. I'm doing okay. I finally saw my GP yesterday. He listened to my heart very closely as I had told him about the skipping fluttering feeling, he said my heart sounds great, has a very steady beat, my pulse was at 70 he said thats perfect and my blood pressure is 110/70 he said its exactly where it should be. He said everything seems fine. I did tell him about the other symptoms, the moods swings, the anger, the feeling hot esp at nite and first thing in the morning, the anxiety, the adrenalin surges I get as I'm falling asleep, he said you know what you could be right and this sounds like the beginning of peri meno. He has order the normal routine of blood test and said he will call with the results and if those are fine as he expects he will see me next year. We did talk about the health anxiety and he said when you find this happening, first try to have an inner dialog with yourself, tell your to stop and that your okay. He said if it continues he said try your xanax and that should calm you so you can think clearly. I told him my concern was the heart thing and I explained why I think its become much worse. He said that having someone close to you die of sudden heart death can cause such a reaction and fear. I feel alittle better having spoke to him. I know I have some work to do with my anxiety. I am going to see my ob-gyn next and speak to him and see if and what natural routes I can go. I can't take estrogen as I have a fibroid tumor and he said these tumors thrive on estrogen.
I prefer to go as natural as I can. I take thyriod meds and seem to have alot of side effects from other meds. I think being here with you ladies and having support and advice and being part of a fabulous group is going to be very helpful. I thank you all so much.
Hope you all have a great day.
Patty
