Not sure where to post this but...
I think it may be from the incredible itching I've had but once again I have a painful swollen Bartholin gland( at the back base of the vagina). My lymph node in my groin also started to get painful. Did a bunch of warm tea bags "on the spot" last night to try and open it.
Does anyone have this as a problem as well, not nec. peri-related but I freak out every time it happens.

I had one of these a couple years ago - boy, did I freak out! The way I got rid of it was sitting in a hot tub (no bottoms) every night for a couple nights. The warm water seemed to take care of it.

HI YES I HAD THAT PROBLEM DIDN;T REALIZE I HAD A FATTY TUMOR IN GLAND TILL I FELT IT CLEANING MYSELF. IT REALLY HURT, I WENT TO GYNO AND HE REMOVED IT WITHIN A WEEK AND IT WAS BIG. NOWLET ME TELL YOU AFTERWARDS IT HURT LIKE HELL!!!!! GOODLUCK TERRY

Yes, this is a painful and annoying problem! I had it once a couple of years ago. My doc told me to do sitz baths to encourage it to drain on its own, which it did. He also told me to keep the area scrupulously clean (I thought I already was!) by washing with an unscented product formulated especially for that area; I use this stuff called "Sliquid" and it really works. Haven't had any problems since I started using it! It can be found on Drugstore.com if you want to take a look.
