I had my period Dec. 17 then I have another Dec. 31 that lasted 7 days...way long for me. I feel like I a ready for another one, stiff lower back pain and cramps but so far nothing yet.
I have heard a couple women say that after the inbetween bleed they were right back on schedule again. I'm only 17 days away from the last one. Dosent look very "schedule" like ;0)

What can I expect? I'm flying to N.Y. in 7 weeks and don't want the jet lag home to throw me off and I would like to go there with energy, not like an old lady that has had 6 periods since new years! All pale and sickly looking!

Any insight???!

That is the question isn't it? What to expect next. I don't think any of us know that and if we did, boy, we would all be rich biggrin.gif . I can have two periods a month and then go a few months without one and then be regular for a few months in a row. At this time of life, I don't think we know what will happen next. I always carry a mini pad with me at all times now as I just don't know anymore.

I am the same way,...two in a month...I have a 15 year old daughter...is is coincidence if I get mine just after she gets her's? .....and then again on my regualar schedule 10 to 14 days later?...wow!

Slow bear - it may not be coincidence your period falls in line with your daughters, my friend is a nurse and about 20 years ago lived in the nurses home. She took part with all the others in a survey to test out the theory that if a group of women all live together their periods eventually will coincide - waht I am not sure is why, but anyway after 8 months 80% of the girls were all menstruating at the same time, the ones who were not mainly took BCP's so would be regulated by those.

Girls mum - I am with Mopsy, there is just no way of predicting what is going to happen, I have had two periods a month, missed a month, been regular for a few months and then had couple again, you just cannot tell. Sorry, can't be more helpful than this. However to avoid being too pale and washed out make sure your diet is iron rich. Frequent and heavy periods can of course cause aneamia (can't spell it) and that of course leaves you tired and flaky.
Have a good trip - business of pleasure?

Hi Amanda
I've also heard, and experienced that women that are together enough eventually will have the same cycle. Oddly enough, my Daughter got her period on the 30th of December,. So maybe she is the culprit lol!
Trip 80% pleasure...20% Business...perfect combo :0)
