It was weird i went to bed last night had chills which is normal in peri, and i notice my cheeks and nose had a sunburn look and was kinda stingy. Now is this a peri/meno symptom? Today it went away. Thanks Lizardlover

Hi lizzy, maybe you have a little rosacea, its extremely common in women of all ages and it usually appears out of nowhere. Were you out in the snow at all? Perhaps its a touch of snowburn from the sun reflecting off the snow.

My face sometimes looks very flush, and the rest of me is cold. I figure it's just another wonderful manifestation of a hot flash.

Ive had them for the last 6 or so months and just put it down to having prei. My is like that nearly all day. It looks like someone slapped me lol.

Lizzie, do you mean a real tingly, itchy, burny type of sensation? I get it all the time, but no redness in my case at all, but yes, it's a Peri/Meno thing......another one to enjoy. I keep a chilled bottle of Aloe Gel handy....it really soothes the sensation.

Hugs to you my friend..

Lizard....

It does sound like rosacea....perhaps you should go to dermatologist and have them take a look. I have it and....thank God for makeup I tell ya......otherwise I'd scare the neighbors...LOL.

Hugs,
Karen
