Hard to know how to feel about this. He sure did write some incredible music, but was also a wife beater.

Tina has "no comment." She's "simply the best!"

I bet he doesn't get a GLIMPSE of Heaven. I think any man that can do what he did to that poor woman should not have 'pop star' recognition after his death. There are many, MANY people in this world that write good music and have unbelievable talents, and they die unnoticed. And probably never beat up a woman in their lives. I personally think the guy was a creep. Sorry to any fans out there that read my reply, but it's just my two cents worth. I shiver when I think of some of his domestic violence acts. Kudos to Tina for turning her life around and getting rid of the idiot. She's a woman to be admired IMO.

Kleeo, I LOVED what you wrote. I agree 100%! The guy was a total creep, and I think when Tina came out about how he mistreated her, his career suffered. I admire Tina SO much for what she was able to accomplish in her life. She truly is "simply the best"! Good riddance to jerks like Ike Turner -- our world doesn't need 'em.

Has anyone seen the film, about Tina? You're right..Ike Turner was bad news. I saw Tina Turner singing live here in Wales about nine years ago. She was wonderful. Wife beaters should be imprisoned. Permanently !

As far as I'm concerned....Satan has a new playmate.

I agree Webalina. He doesn't deserve paradise with the things he did to poor Tina. Was Tina's response really "No Comment"?

AGREED....my dad always said that any man that hits a woman is a coward and would never fight another man...ever.
