I was taking Estratest FS and felt pretty good and was even beginning to lose weight.

I wanted something more natural so I called Pete and we began Trouch's -- Estriadol  1mg & Testosterone .625mg 2x a day.  I felt good for about 4 days but then I'd wake up depressed and wanting to cry.  So after 3 days of that I called Pete back and he said I may need more or less.  To take either the Estriadol 1mg SL in the afternoon or use one of my old Biest 2.5mg in addition to the Am/Pm dose.  That was a diseaster cause I ended up with headaches.

So I've been experimenting and using Biest Trouch's 2.5mg and Testosterone .625 Am/Pm and I began having the most vivid dreams.  It doesn't have anything to do with my life in general.  Example, we were watching CSI on TV and that night all I dreamed about was people getting killed.

So here's where I need your experience.  Has anyone had a similar experience.  Do I need more of less of the Biest or Estriadol.

I'm 52, had a total hysterectomy in Sept00.  I'd love to hear from anyone who can shed some light on this. I think Pete's is about to give up on me.

I do believe that estrogen dominance causes the vivid dreams. Last night I was dreaming my head off because I cut back my progesterone. Today, I am going to cut back on the biest this morning only and then go back to my usual dose to see what that will do. I find one of the most frustrating things is not knowing if you have too much or not enough. Sounds like the original doses you were taking were a bit low relative to what the "average prescription" is. I use the Biest 2.5 and the 4% progesterone cream and 4mg testosterone. Doesn't it just make you crazy when your sleep is interrupted?? I used to sleep like a log, up until two months ago when I entered the "no sleep" phase of meno.

Hey Libradoll...

Pete never gives up.  He is the greatest.  It takes a couple of months to get it right and I'm still trying after 6 months.  Give Pete a chance.  sometimes you need to add a bit more one day, less the next.   Try drinking "Rivival" once a day it really helps.

Log on to the web site and read about it.  I swear by it.   Been on it since Nov.  It is my afternoon snack.   It really helps you to sleep.

When my hormones are ragging I get thoes crazy dreams too.  Sometimes I wake up and feel likeI just came out of the horror hotel..

But after a while sleep comes naturally and you'll wake up refreshed.  ALso add Oil of Primrose to your diet.
