I have been using Vivelle patch and estrace cream but can't get rid of this vaginal itching (some burning, too). I have been to gynecologist three times--no infections, good cell size, etc., etc.

This time the only different thing she said was that I have no lactobacillus. She doesn't know if this is related to the problem but suggested getting some from a health food store and asking pharmacist for gel caps--then insert into vagina.

Has anybody done this?

Meanwhile, this itching is maddening. I have tried Carlson Vit. E suppositories, too, but no luck.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
