Hi All,

Just interested to know when bleeding, spotting subsides (or appears to have subsided, hopefully forever - only slowed up about 3 weeks ago) have any of you ladies noticed that discomfort and pain (ie backache, twinges in legs and hips etc) seems to worsen? Have any of you experienced this sort of thing?

I really don't understand this process, I actually felt better with the bleeding and spotting.

Yes Freuda, it all seems to be backwards now, the cramps come after the period and in between, nothing makes sense in perimenopause i am finding out.

Hi Freuda,
From my experience as with Ivy, I actually feel better after I finally start my period,,,at least after the couple of days of bad cramps and such. Then after it stops, I start to feel bloated, ovaries have twinges and the headaches and backaches return. I tend to have to take advil more after the period than when it is going. So sometimes I ask myself....do I ever feel good again? But on the days I do feel good,,,it's like a new life! So I take what I can get.

Thanks for your replies Ivy and Becca. I really don't understand this weirdness, it is very hard to live with, heres hoping the end of this is close for all of us. I just hope the end of all peri madness doesn't mean more suffering, aches and pains- I can't feel to positive about this.

Chins up ladies we can fight anything.
