Maybe the medications are making your dizzy. I know this is a dumb question, but are you stressed lately? I am always feeling a bit stressed and I get the dizzies. I get them when I stand up from a low position. I never had that before the peri started. I even fainted once. And I had an attack of vertigo 2 years ago, a few weeks after I had an ovary removed. I believe its all hormones. If you are constantly dizzy you should see an E&T doctor to rule out anything serious. Also, I heard you can take like Benedryl for dizziness. I think when I was at the ER for the vertigo (thought i had a brain thing at the time) they told me that. Check it out; I could be wrong.

Do not fret. You will be fine.

Corky-

You're right on the money. I started getting the lightheaded dizzies after my gyn surgery. This was in april of this year. Feels like a bad, bad case of vertigo. My Doc told me to take Bonine which helps with vertigo.-Andrea

Yes, Bonine does help! It's over the counter. Still, the dizzies are just miserable. Stress and baaaad eating (migraine triggers) bring mine on, as well as any sinus or ear thing (which is all the time of late). I've also noted usually on day 1-3; 8 and day 16 or so of my cycle. Hormones on the fritz. waaaaaaa. unsure.gif

If it helps. I always get dizzy before my period. I will be sitting still and everything will spin. My sister and me talked recently and she said she has always had the same thing. I think it is common. Try not to let it scare you. I get it every month one to two weeks before my perid. It used to scare me to death...now I just consider it part of the curse of being a woman! hang in there!
