I am sure I wasn't asleep very long when for the very first time I was woken up with what felt like 3 or 4 very fast flutters of my heart, like it was in my throat, and I needed to gasp for air. Went right away and within seconds I was back to sleep. My period will be coming soon, I am at day 22 now and have had a bad few days. Yesterday in bed after lunch for the *crashing fatigue*,Today, powerless and irritable, feeling (again) like I am coming down with the Flu (why do I always feel that way before my period!!?!!)
Do these *night palpitations* become a regular thing with some Woman? I thought I was on the first step to a heart attack! Not nice, not nice at all!

hi girlsmom,

i'm at day 23 & had my 'flu' day 2 days ago - could barely get off the couch to feed myself. have had all the other symptoms that you mention, including that unsettling heart flutter thing. i'm sure it varies for everyone, but i have found that the flutter thing just comes & goes. it's one of the less frequent symptoms (thought the constellation of those seem to constantly change). until i found power surge i thought it was just another indicator that i was going crazy or developing some complicated but surely horrendous health problem. & you're right - not nice at all. hope it stays fairly quiet for you.

Hi Girlsmom, I feel SO many different sensations when my period is due. Remember the good old days when the only way you knew you were going to start bleeding was CRAMPING? Hello! NO MORE! I get palps, stomach upsets, pains in about EVERY part of my body mainly my thighs, headaches, anxiety, and the list goes on. Coming down with the flu is a VERY good comparison. It's all very upsetting and tiring. I just plain get exhausted. Hope you feel better.
Hugs

I Thank you Both, 2 of my best supporters!!!:0)
I'm feeling a bit better as the night goes on...maybe because 2/3 are in Bed ;0)
The aches and the pains...you are so right Kleeo, and I di believe EP, that you and I onced talked about us getting this *Flu* like feeleing on a thread a while back. The heart thing and gasp just really freaked me out...I am sure it will freak me out again if I get one...I really, really, really hope that it won't be a frequent visitor.
Thanks Ladies...*Big Sigh*
