I agree, this sounds like a very typical hot flash. Mine radiate up from the middle of my chest, arms and up my neck and into my face. It does feel as though you probably have a fever, but I think it's an inappropriate reaction of your brain to lack of estrogen etc.
Ditto. Lately, it feels like someone is holding a flame to my neck and back. My family can even feel the heat radiating from my back. Thank God that it only lasts a few seconds at a time. Now those drenching sweats that I experience has lasted about an hour. Wish it would serve some useful purpose like sweating off these added peri pounds, lol
