Hi all,

I just started bi-est one week ago. I was really excited because about 30 minutes or so after applying the cream, my depression would magically life, I felt more energetic and alert, my head is clear etc. I was so happy that maybe I would finally start to feel better. Then at about day 3, the vaginal discharge started. Way more than normal. Sorry to be descriptive but it is actually a kind of pale yellow color. I do not burn or itch. It isn't lumpy or cheesey... Is this normal? I am going to call the doc that prescribed it for me tomorrow just to make sure. It has to be related to the new estrogen level. I have only EVER had 2 yeast infections in my life, both times under hormonal change (pregnancy). I don't think this is yeast but it is worrying me and of course disgusting. Does your body adjust and it eases up a bit? Sigh, why does one improvement seem to come with something else to deal with. It does seem like on thing after another...

thank you for any insight.
Have a great day!!

Oh, PS, Im on a really low dose of bi-est. .375 mg daily was my starting dose.

my heart goes out to you...i can relate to your fear associated with every change that occurs. I seem to remember when i started using tri-est a similar thing happened to me. I thought 'something else was going wrong' when it was something going right. Like 'hello' my vagina was starting to work again! Don't freak out if you can help it...just be with it and see what happens since there are no adverse symptoms like itching or such. Our vaginas are meant to lubricate aren't they?? Hey maybe it's the best thing yet! Try to relax if you can.
I've had incredible hormone imbalance since early/mid 30's and now i'm 53 and realise , looking back, that i've come a long way through it. It isn't easy especially since medical practitioners are a bit limited in their understanding and we are all so unique even tho we have common problems.
I discovered that stress was my main cause of my imbalance. A lifetime of accumlated stress...it builds up in the body and causes so many problems. I exhausted my adrenals and had a 'crash' (could call it a breakdown) in 2001. For me it was the beginning of the rest of my life. Learn to relax... i know it's not easy but it is worth learning how to do.
