Why dont Doctors tell you what is will be like to go through Premapause?? Its not nice at all. Mood swings etc. I didnt expect any of what Im going through. Never mind I surpose there are people worse off than me. Im just feeling sorry for myself.

I get the feeling you are a little lost on this forum at the moment, as well, and it is a big forum, and takes a while to get used to. One of the best places to start reading is under the heading of what symptoms you are experiencing, and then you will find Sooooo many other ladies just like you who are feeling the same, and truly understand what Peri is like to go through.

I wish I knew why Docs say nada about Peri, and sometimes it seems like they don't even want to acknowledge that it exists, so I am as confused as you are! I even feel sorry for my own Doc sometimes , as he seems so stressed over my symptoms.

Hot flashes? Yes, I know. You feel like you are on fire, and if you are like me, the next minute you can feel as cold as antartica, although some don't get the chills, but I'll take chills any day over the hot flashes/flushes.

Well, I hope you stay around, and post some more, and we get to exchange posts around the forum! Nice to 'meet' you.

Thanks Flushing Lady, There are some neat people that Ive met on this PS site. The information has been so much of a help to me too.

I can assure you that I will be staying around for a long time. I wish we had a site like this here in New Zealand but we dont. The Doctors here dont really offer much help to answer any questions that you may have. I think they dont know what to tell you about any of whats happening to us.
