I have no pain and would never have noticed except my left knee was bothering me so I was observing my knees. THere seems to be a sort of tissue mass thing on below my right kneecap, the part that would touch the ground when you kneel. I thought it was just thicker than the other knee but i can grab something and it moves around a bit. Its no more than an inch around i would guess. I am seeing the Dr but any clues?

Its always one thing after another it seems and it eats away at my health anxiety fear!

Had a hard time figuring out what category to place this in. Where would you post it?

Dmar-

I know the initial post is is a little old, but wanted to share a bit of info. My uncle had ongoing symptoms from a mass behind his knee. As it turns out he had what was commonly called a "Baker's Cyst". -andrea

What you are feeling could be a fatty collection called a "lipoma". It is benign and very commom in women. It is not a Baker's cyst because they are at the back of the knee.
