I'm 46 and about 7 months ago my dr. put me on the mini-pill due to menopausal symptoms I could no longer live with. It has worked very well for me with no side effects; however, I was wondering if your periods will stop even though you're on the pill? Mine have been getting lighter and lighter, and this month it hasn't come at all (not that I miss it). Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm 47 and have been taking the Pill for a few years now and my periods are nothing to speak of and I miss the odd one - alas, they reappear! Aren't we a bit young for a complete stop? Do you feel any different when you are on the 7day 'break' - I notice that I am and I'm going to ask about the 3mth on 7days off pill so that I, and those around me don't have to suffer!
