I have recently switched from Menest to Climera...(three weeks ago) While on Estratab and Menest, I never bled or had a period; and ultrasounds showed that I had virtually no lining buildup.  Now that I've been on .05 of Climera for the past three weeks, I find that I am staining. Will a 12 day  200/day dose of Prometrium stop the staining until I get a period? I'm on vacation and would like to delay the inevitable.

I found the prometrium brought on my period after only 3 days on it. 200 mg was what my doc recommended but it seemed like too much. Now I've read that the dose doesn't matter so much. The crucial thing is to take it for 10 consecutive days, continuing even if you start bleeding.
