Does anyone know if I should take these 3 combinations or not?? I started Effisoy this past weekend. Been taking the other 2 for a very long time. Should I discontinue the St. John's and the Black Cohash just to see how I do with the soy??

I am having severe symptoms again. Not quite the same as weekend symptoms, which were the worst I've ever had, but different.

I seem to be experiencing a multitude of symptoms intermittently throughout the day.

Thanks for any help you can give,

bev

hey bev :
from what i have read black cohash and st. john's wort can b very dangerous . i only know one woman who got relief from meno symptoms only had them 4 3 months then never again . how wonderful but that is a rare exception . i know nothing about effisoy , only i know i could not trt it as anyone who has fibromyalgia ( like me ) should avoid soy products . just because a health food store sells something does not make it safe . read books on nutrician >

Hi Bev,

I would think it smart to stop the Cohosh if you are trying Soy. I read somewhere that if you take more than one herbal treatment you won't know which one is really working. So, you could be taking more than you need. A lot of women seem to like the Revival Soy for hot flashes. I don't have that problem yet, so I just drink a glass of Soy Slender (supermarket brand) every day just in case. I do take Vitex and Cohosh but no St. Johns Wort. The SJW is for depression so you could probably still use that if its helping you with the blues.

Feel well, smile and carry on there is an end to everything. Good luck to you too.
