I'm not sure where to put this. I just know I need help. I passed out in the middle of Walmart store where I work, today. Not exactly sure why. I was extremely overheated. They of course wanted to call paramedic. I said no. They said go home. I went. I'm so so so fed up with feeling the way I do 20 hours out of the day!!!!!! Nothing seems to help. I've tried all kinds of soy supplements, black cohosh, vitamin E, Evening Primrose Oil, St John's Wort, Valerian Root!!!! I've got it coming out of my ears!!! I just wish it would help!!!!!!! I made up my mind to go to doc. tomorrow morning and say "Do Something Before I Lose My Mind!!!!"

Hi Ponylady!
What a nasty experience! I've had it also and it's certainly not nice. I ended up in the ER and they found...nothing! Just another lovely meno-symptom to enjoy!
But - you said you were overheated - make sure you drink enough water!
I always go out with a bottle of water now. Somehow our "thermostat" doesn't work right during meno and I'm sure we need extra fluids.
I only take back cohosh, don't really know if it works...
Do you have anxiety?
I find I get so tense that I don't breath properly and even hold my breath and then get dizzy.
Somewhere here on PS you'll find more about that.
Took a tranquilizer for 2 weeks and now have it for emergency use.
Good luck at the doctors! I pray that it's "only" hormones!

Thanks Jonie for your response. I did go to doc. today and my usual doc. was not there. In his place was a woman doc.!! How Nice!!!! We talked for a bit and when I left, I had a script. for Prempro 0.45mg/1.5mg. and a script for Chantix, the stop-smoking drug they have out now. I've heard that they've had a lot of good results with it. Anyway, I'm willing to try it. Also willing to try the Prempro and see if it helps. It's not the lowest dose they have, but low enough to where if it doesn't help, she can jack it up. She said it would take at least a week before I would see any changes. I'm just hoping and praying that it will help. I don't expect it to work miracles and take all these symptoms completely away, but it would be nice if it just helped to ease it up some. I might just survive this if it does.
