I have not seen anyone address yeast infection problems. Anyone know if they are associated with this season of our lives?

Hi Bev,
I have had problems with yeast infections off and on since I was 19, so for me they are not just associated with the peri and meno years. Every time I have to take an antibiotic I ALWAYS get one, as well as other times out of the blue...esp. in the warmer months!
Just another lovely thing we women are blessed with!

Eating yogurt helped me. My gyn. also told me that if u wear a panyliner, change it frequently to prevent excessive moisture. I hope this helps!

Tell your friend to sleep with no panties at night ,,The air is good for those that suffer with Yeast Infections..

I will do that, but (SSSSHHHH) something else I think I will tell her is to stay away from her boyfriend. She's also been a single mom for a few years (just like me) and she's having something wakened up in her that she thought was gone. Please don't tell her I told you that. She'll find out when she gets on this message board. I also have to wonder if the vaginal secretions change during this time too???
