I'm sure a lot of you already know this, but I just wanted to share this with anyone who doesn't. I have found a HUGE difference in the frequency and severity of my hot flashes (especially at night) depending on the fabric I'm wearing. I am much more likely to have more and longer lasting hot flashes when I wear any kind of synthetic as opposed to 100% cotton. The 100% cotton lets your skin breathe much better. Even something with 5 or 10% spandex or rayon or whatever seems to increase the number of hot flashes by quite a bit. I know 100% cotton can be wrinkly, but it's worth it to get a good night's sleep. Hope this is helpful. Of course on the other hand, my sister-in-law swears she has hot flashes unless she wears nightgowns, etc. that are 100% nylon!
