I have become an "expert" at "deadly" diseases too, and leaping to conclusions is my absolute favorite past time! laugh.gif

Your not alone Lady E. I'm starting to get that way too. If i get sharp pain or any weird feeling i start panicking, I guess thats another peri symptom too lol. It never quits. Goodluck maybe one of these days we will be are normal selves.

Well girls....it could be worse! I am sitting here with the CD in the computer of my Lumbar MRI done yesterday. I've looked at these shadows a zillion times...trying to find a tumor, a herniated disc, a cyst, whatever. I have no idea what I'm looking for, but I've determined that there must be something wrong with it! LOL! Actually, I did find a herniated disc, but I can't read the ones that are cross cut..on the axis? I give up b/c I'd have myself dead in a week if I kept up at this pace. That thing is going to get dropped off at my Dr. office in the morning and I'm askin him to call me with the results BEFORE my Aug. 6th appt.

WHY DO WE WORRY SO???

Oh how I can relate to you ladies...since my hysterectomy three months ago...I have health anxiety every single day...I am hypervigiliant of every tiny little bodily sensation, and think I have some horrible disease everyday...it's the pits, isn't it? sad.gif sad.gif

To all my fellow hypo-ladies--I salute you.It takes a strong willed person not to just crumple up in the corner and wait for the mold to start growing.I am personally sick of worrying, and decided that I am going to try to find some humor in my life, and lets face it,we can be pretty funny!!!GODbless you all. smile.gif

Oh, this SO describes my life for the last 18 months . . . .

Where's my cape and knee-high boots? (And can I have a cool gadget, too?)

There should be some kind of perk for putting up with this junk.
Lady E
Gadgets?!Wow,like a hot flash detector that would give a warning beep before the actual flash and allow us to direct the heat away from our bodies toward whatever we wanted to roast!Or an anxiety distrubuter to let us "share"our feelings with those special people who think we are "making too much"of our problems.Anyone else have any ideas.? laugh.gif
