Hi, I have been reading Dearest posting about taking another type of treatment whilst tapering off HRT.  Well. a well known British pharmautical company has just brought out an 'alternatives menopause' tablet, it contains:- soya isoflavones, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium carbonate, soya flour extract, modified maize starch, potato fibre, boron chelate, stearic acid, vitamin e, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B1, glycerol, riboflavin, vitamin B12, folic acid, hydroxypropyl cellulose and carnauba wax.  Would this be suitable to take whilst tapering off the HRT?  Hugs Jen

be careful about the soy... I think it is just another form of estrogen....maybe try Black Cohosh

Soy isn't estrogen at all, but it is a phytoestrogen, a plant product that mimics estrogen, but isn't estrogen itself.

Before I would use ANY soy product, I would find out if the soy they use has been genetically modified/engineered. The beauty of Revival is that the soy is non-GMO (not modified). Also, bear in mind that any of the studies on soy were not done on soy tablets (pills), but on the protein-powder combinations.

I would certainly be interested in knowing more about this, Jen.I have not heard of it.I would like to try Soy Revival, but the cost of shipping it to the UK, on top of the cost of the product, make something 'home grown' a tempting option.
