I am new to the confusing world of managing the symptoms of perimenopause, and just started the lowest dose of Estrace. I have a constant nagging headache and am sick to my stomach all the time. If I stick this out for (?) weeks, do those side effects go away?

This is NOT an improvement! Thanks...

I'm not sure they are typical side effects.  Have you talked to your doctor?

I had the nausea too, and my pharmacist (compounding type) told me nausea and migraine were too much estrogen. I think I did not need the estrogen yet, so he put me back on just progesterone and I did fine. Hope this might help you, but your problem may be due to something else.

Take care.

I headaches the first week or so when I started on my compounded bi-est.  They went away after that, I guess my body adjusted. Now I feel just fine and I am very happy with my bioidentical hormones.
