Just started using Esclim.  Anyone have any experience with it?  I am taking with prometrium and hoping this will be the answer since I did not have much luck with NHRT from a compounding pharmacy.  I am feeling a bit lightheaded this AM and wondering how long it will take body to get used to esclim since was taking biest.  Maybe we got the conversion wrong!

Hi Diannemarie........how are you doing on the Vivelle dot? I  have tried 3 different patches (Climara, Vivelle, and Esclim) and have found that although the dot worked well....I was always feeling to see if it was still there....since it is so small and thin.  It worked well for me though.....no headaches etc. I finally went with the Esclim patch (for now...lol) because is sticks so good you can hardly get it off. ( i want my money's worth).   Anyway, delivery wise, the Vivelle dot and Esclim both get a thumbs up. The Climara patch caused severe headaches in me and wouldn't stay on.   Hope this helps a little. Let me know how you are doing.  

thanks!  I guess I am wondering how long it should/can take for you to get used to using the patch?  I am  having some minor side effects and would like to hope it will not take 2-3 months to get used to it since I had been taking biest so my body had gotten used to having estrogen again.  I am trying to hang in but need some encouragement!!!  The things I am experiencing are all on the list that came with the prescription so I know they are normal but would like to know when the prescribing information says they will go away during treatment how long that is!!!! )
