Full Version: Bio Identical Estrogen
Hi ladies its me GG,I'm on estrogen cream now since last Monday. In a miscommunication with my Nurse Practioner/Pharmacist I ended up with Premrin estrogen cream. Since I'm only going to be using it for 2 weeks, then moving on to a bio identical one, everything will be fine. My question is what is a name of a bio identacal or a non conjugated estrogen cream? In my research I'm finding pills, and products with testostrone etc. What I need is the cream to use vaginally, so that my atrophic vaginitis gets help. Any information I would greatly appreciate. GG, you're not going to get a bio-identical estrogen cream that's conjugated. The bio-identicals -- also referred to as HIH - human-identical -- naturally compounded hormones, pills, transdermal creams, gels, et al, are not conjugated. Premarin, Prempro and Premphase are conjugated estrogens (Prempro and Premphase being combined with Provera, a synthetic progestin, which you don't want to take). You can get an estradiol cream for your vaginal dryness and other issues -- something that will also help your atrophic vaginitis. Ahhhhh I understand Dearest thank you so much. What I want is Human Identical naturally compounded hormones. I will check out the sites you suggested. I have learn something yet again, from the pioneer of this wonderful site. I will be talking with my NP close to the end of the two weeks. I will tell her about where I can get them, and see what she says.
I'm learning, a little bit at a time. Never an ending to any of this. I will pass along what I learn, so that I can indeed help someone else.
