Deb,
To me, this is one of the worst symptoms because you never know when they will happen. My heart beats quickly as well to where once I was close to passing out. This happened in the morning and I literally thought I was having a heart attack. I had to call in sick that day and felt weak the remainder of the day. It happened again once after that.
Anxiety and panic are also other symptoms that I've had for about 8 years and although at times, the panic and anxiety subsides for a short time, I still have a feeling of being an "air head" and have the worst time focusing.
I know you'll make it through the summer, just take it easy when you feel lightheaded and lay day for a little while if you can. Mine are worst in the mornings and not as bad in the afternoons. But then again, they come in waves and catch me off guard at times.
I hope things get better for you. Have you seen a doctor about the panic/anxiety? I ended up having to and it helped tremdously.
From Simba 2, Deb, I know exactly how you feel with the sweating. These sweats are taking over my life. I have suffered since my last period, two and a half years ago. The only respite was when I briefly took HRT and the sweating stopped but the two types I tried had side-effects I could not tolerate so that is why I am not taking it at present though the sweating with the panic that comes with the sweats is extremely hard to bear. Tina, may I ask what your doctor reccomended for the anxiety? I dearly want to have my old self back.
Let us know how you are doing.
Take care,
-Tina
