I have a sloshy, mushy, uncomfortable sensation in my right knee and it's swollen. It feels like fluid retention. I walk a lot and have been active all my life. Until peri, I had no swelling but now I notice with activity, I get swelling in my ankles and my knees. (Right now it's just the right knee)... blink.gif go figure.... Maybe the walking as enough to put pressure on my knee joint and cause inflammation...who knows, you know? I drink a lot of water and try to stay very health conscious. I used to be a runner and would run 6 miles on the weekends and 3 miles on the weekdays. I'm no stranger to exercise and I've never had a knee injury that I know of. No pain is involved... Water weight? Does water weight go hand in hand with ovulation?
I'm trying to piece all my peri symptoms together to make sense and any help would be appreciated. I'm so sick of going to the doctor....HA! How's that for irony! blink.gif laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

Still gonna walk no matter what! tongue.gif

Well, the old leg is achin' now so maybe I *did* do something to it but am not aware of it.
However, the swelling is nothing new. The ache is. Go figure.....another brick in the wall of peri symptoms and confusion. I need to walk around with a huge question mark necklace because that's how I feel half the time. Totally confused and a bit scared. These symptoms are so alarming sometimes that I bet the doctors have a field day on peri patients. Tests, tests, and MORE tests.

I guess the swelling must go with ovulation and I'm just gonna have to get used to it. Right now me and my knee are going to go lie down and watch a DVD. And yes, that's a rhyme and wanna make somethin' of it? tongue.gif laugh.gif

I'll tell you this: I'm just OVER THE MOON HAPPY I am not, at this moment, suffering from that horrible anxiety/black cloud depression. tongue.gif For now. I know it will come back but I at least want to pass thru this hot flash first. laugh.gif laugh.gif (where is the red faved smiley?)
Or the smiley with the double chin...or the smiley with the coke bottle glasses.....oh man, I tell ya it's FUN getting old.......er......older. Now, back to my DVD on "Spackle and Makeup.....Should They Be Used Together?" I should write a song about that...hmmmm

*walks off to get geetar*
