I am peri-menopausal, but have had very regular periods the last year while on .25 vivelle and prometrium starting day 14-24.  Sometimes I need the prometrium when I know I haven't ovulated-and it starts a day after I stop the prometrium. I feel good on this regimen, but  this last cycle the prometrium failed to start my period. Instead, I started getting cervical fluid and ovulation pain, then a week later sore breasts like before my period would come. But  15 days after the supposed ovulation, I got barely there brown spotting for a day. Then nothing. It's  now over a week since the spotting.So, what is that? Did I not build up a lining at all, even with the vivelle? Or  is the lining just not breaking down, and should I get that checked?I've never had this happen before, and I thought I would have normal periods on this particular HRT.
