Hi, all,

Well, awakened around 5 a.m. this morning and felt some anxiety followed by really fast pounding of my heart (palps) and broke out in a sweat. Yesterday, I felt very fatigued yet wired and had a sense that something bad could happen.

I am so tired of menopause. I've had the ekg's, the numerous doctors visits (family, gyno, GI, etc.). I am just fed up and when this occurred this morning, Isaid to myself that if I am going to die now -- FINE!! At least I won't have to put up with this anymore.

I recently went on a lower thyroid dose (last week) b/c I felt that my TSH although in the range was too low (0.86). Usually, it's between 2 and 3.

Anyway, I don't know what is causing what. I went on bioidential hrt 2 wks. ago. I read that natural progesterone can increase thyroid activity, but I don't know if that is true.

Anyone have any thoughts? If you read this, thanks for letting me vent!

HI Colleen,
I really think many of your problems can be due to hormones changing. The waking up early with palps and feeling of doom can be from hormones. I think Dearest has that listed as one of the 34 menopause symptoms. Hopefully when your thyroid meds get straightened out you will feel better too. I know how it goes, you get rid of one problem just to have 3 more new ones crop up! I am fighting the palps right now too. The last 2 days I have had right upper side pain, maybe flair up of gallbladder from the fish oil capsules I'm taking to help the palps! Always something. Take care.
