Hello my fellow meno sisters,

For about a year now i have been having horrible itching after shaving my legs. I have tried, every shaving cream, soap, as well as just wetting my legs to shave my legs. About 2 or 3 hours later the insanity begins. I feel like i'm being attacked by stabbing itching pains on my legs. The craziness lasts about an hour and i cant' do anything else but scratch and go mental ( more mental, LOL). I even have to plan if I got somewhere after shaving my legs because of this mess.

I have tried using all sort of different creams after I shave my legs and nothing has been helping.
Just wondering if anyone else is going through this and what you are doing to help this horrible itching.

Not shaving my legs is not an option, LOL, beleive me, I leave it as long as I can because I dread the aftermath.

Any suggestions ?

Hugs,

What kind of shaver are you using?I have to watch what type i use or i get the major itching too.I only use the disposable kind that have a lubricating strip...i only use them twice at most and then throw them away...i have found that when they become dull,i get the itch after shaving.

HI,
Have you ever tried using the aloe vera gel? Fruit of the earth has a good brand, there are some others too. You can actually use it like a shaving gel and also apply it after shave it absorbs quickly . It usually does the trick for me. Also, helps with red bumps. I hope this helps. peace out.

HI,
Have you ever tried using the aloe vera gel?

Aloe vera gel is great ... I've been having laser therapy and the nurse told me to rub this stuff on my skin to take the irritation away ... have you tried this Mooze?
the mad one
have you tried oilatum after you shave, that is a lovely safe oil used to treat dry skin problems i use it allover too, either straight onto the skin or into the bath water, helps to stop the whole body itch which drives me mad
