Hi,

Well its been 4 months of no period. I do have all the symptoms that a period is coming. Bloating, cramps, sore breast and constant PMS. My night sweats ( which I had been having for the last 3 months) have completely disappeared, which is a great thing! I have my yearly appointment with my gyn this week and was wondering if I should ask to have have my period "kick started." I know that having a 4 month build up is not a good thing?
Has anyone else ever done this? I am 42 and been going through this for about 2 years. The same thing happend to me last year ( skipped 4 periods) and then they came back and were as regular as can be! Just like I was 25 again! This is so annoying!

I've been going 6 months at a time without a period and I don't mind at all considering 2 years ago I was getting it every 3 weeks and it was heavy lol. I would just ask your doctor what is right for you. I'm 42 also!
