Hi Ladies. I don't know if I am posting this in the right spot but I am going to give it a shot. My doctor put me on a very mild contraceptive to straighten out my periods. He said he might let me stay on them until menopause. What I want to know is if I am on them will I stop getting my period if I go into menopause or will it keep my period coming. Thanks again for your support and Hugs to you all. Lizzy49

Well, I have read that you will get a period every month due to the amount of estrogen in the pills.
However, I don't really believe there is such a thing as "a very mild contraceptive." All birth control pills contain synthetic artificial estrogen and progestin and the estrogen is an extremely aggressive form.
